Articulo - Galisteo

A apenas 20 minutos de Plasencia y otros tantos de Coria nos encontramos con este pueblo que tiene el don de poseer siglos de historia propia, hablamos de Galisteo.

De origen prerromano, concretamente de las tribus Vettonas, pasando por la conquista romana, la posterior conquista almohade y la reconquista catolica, Galisteo ha ido sumando monumentos propios, tales como la muralla que rodea la ciudad, construida durante el periodo musulmán.
